This morning, we are cautiously optimistic. Overnight, there have been no significant changes in the storm’s path, so while we are hoping for the best, we are preparing for the worst. Management and staff are securing the property if conditions are worse than expected. With that in mind, we ask that all owners and guests scheduled to arrive Friday, Sept. 27th, for week 39, be prepared for possible delays to the standard check-in time. Even though we are projected to be outside the most dangerous area of the storm, we are still expecting high winds and rain, with likely power outages.
Safety is our top priority; many of our office and housekeeping staff have evacuated the area. The front office will close today at 11:00 a.m. so that any employees still on the property can seek shelter to prepare for the storm. It will reopen tomorrow as soon as it is safe.
We want to thank our owners for their prayers and concern. We will update everyone tomorrow after the storm has passed. All updates will be posted on the website at www.otbc.net. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Thank you,
Michelle Argo & staff
