Missing PCB and Ocean Towers? Watch Our BeachCam!

As of this morning, the storm tracking for Hurricane Helene’s path is still in our favor. There is currently no mandatory evacuation notice for Bay County. However, several issues remain. Panama City Beach is still inside the cone of uncertainty and possible path of the storm and is still expected to see tropical storm-force conditions. In addition, the risk of heavy rains and flash flooding is a significant concern.
Most concerning to our staff and any owners still in-house is this storm’s possible size and strength. Helene is rapidly intensifying and growing and is projected to be a major hurricane. If radar simulations are correct, the storm’s size could change the PCB and Ocean Towers forecast and drastically intensify wind speeds.
We ask any owners or guests still on the property to take this seriously. It may be too late to evacuate by Thursday early afternoon, and a loss of power could make a departure on Friday more difficult. If you elect to stay on the property, please consider moving all your belongings to your vehicle by Thursday morning if elevators are inoperable due to an outage.
Thank you,
